This time, the Find X3 series not only breaks through impossible surfaces in design, but also brings a full-link 10bit color engine to the configuration experience, covering the entire process of shooting, encoding and decoding, storage, and display sharing.
Of course, a true flagship machine must have a good screen , and as the screen is an important part of this full-link 10bit color management system, its comprehensive expressiveness is particularly important. To this end, OPPO also made a detailed technical sharing on the screen equipped with the Find X3 series, showing us the new exploration of OPPO on the screen, such as 1 Hz –120Hz intelligent dynamic frame rate and O-Sync Overclocking response technology, etc.
First of all, the OPPO Find X3 series is equipped with the industry’s top 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, with QHD+ resolution and 525 PPI, and supports native true 10bit display. At the same time, in order to make the screen of each Find X3 series mobile phone look the same, the color calibration of the screen was done one by one in the factory process, and the JNCD performance was close to 0.4. At the same time, this screen has also received an A+ rating from DisplayMate, an internationally renowned screen evaluation agency.
It is worth mentioning that through the latest OTA system update, the screen of the Find X3 series also realizes color gamut adaptation, and the system photo album can automatically identify pictures in sRGB and P3 color spaces.
In terms of screen display frame rate, the intelligent dynamic frame rate adjustment range of the OPPO Find X3 series this time has been upgraded from 5-120Hz to 1-120Hz, and the original 24+4 gear frequency conversion has been upgraded to 120+4 gear. In order to achieve the 1Hz frequency conversion, in fact, OPPO’s screen engineers have done a lot of work, such as researching and establishing 1Hz ultra-low frequency reliability standards, researching and establishing 1Hz ultra-low frequency optical standards, and fine-tuning according to application scenarios, so that each 1Hz All indicators meet strict quality standards, not worse than 10Hz. In addition, OPPO also makes the best refresh rate videos for other scenes. Take video as an example. When using mainstream video apps daily, the screen will also be adapted to 24Hz, instead of using 60Hz to waste power consumption as before.
In addition to the 1Hz-120Hz intelligent dynamic frame rate, OPPO, in order to fully tap the potential of this screen that supports LTPO technology, as early as 2019, OPPO began to develop its own ultra-high-precision frequency conversion solution, and customized the hardware IP on the SDC display chip. In this way, the industry’s first launch on this Find X3 screen is the O-Sync overclocking response technology highlighted by OPPO this time. This technology comprehensively upgrades the entire link of the display process, breaks the limitation of the original fixed-frequency vertical synchronization, and establishes a new ultra-high-precision dynamic synchronization mechanism.
